On Mother’s day my mom and I went to Door’s Open in Hamilton (one of several cities that will be hosting this event in 2016). We joined tours at two locations: the Cotton Factory and the Water Treatment facility.

The Cotton Factory was an amazing structure that’s been repurposed for small companies, artists, fashion designers and other creative types. The combination of old, restored, modern and artistic elements was really beautiful.

The Water Treatment facility was surprisingly interesting and again the combination of modern and historic elements was really cool.
